The first uke made in the Justecordes workshops is now finished !
Un petit résumé des specs : Il est entièrement en noyer massif, manche et caisse, une finition satin acrylique, touche en palissandre, sillets en micata, mécaniques à friction Grover 4B.
Je l’ai équipé d’aquila et il sonne bien – un son traditionel en strumming mais aussi une bonne attaque pour jouer fort. Je ferais un essai avec d’autres cordes et un rapport complet son/vidéo une fois que fait fini le ‘playing in’

A quick rundown of the spec : It has a solid walnut neck and body with a satin acrylic finish, a rosewood fingerboard, micata nut and saddle and Grover 4B tuners
I’ve mounted it with some aquilas and it sounds great – it has a traditional uke sound when strummed but also lots of attack when played hard. I’ll try it with different strings and do a full report with sound and video clips when I’ve played it in a bit
